A Top 5 Global Company Has Licensed Over the Reality’s 3D Mapping Dataset

One of the Top 5 most valuable companies in the world has acquired a license for Over the Reality’s 3D mapping dataset to train next-generation vision foundation models.

This represents a major milestone for OVER and a strong validation of the direction we started building toward years ago.

Over the last few years, we have been developing one of the largest crowdsourced spatial datasets of the physical world, mapping cities, streets, and indoor spaces across the globe.

Today, the OVER dataset includes:

• 192,000+ high-quality 3D maps
• 864TB+ of real-world spatial data
• 92.7M+ images

But why does this matter?

Because the next generation of AI systems will need massive amounts of real-world spatial data to understand, interpret, and interact with the physical world.

This includes robotics, AI agents, spatial computing, Visual Positioning Systems, and vision-based foundation models.
